Health Workforce Queensland undertakes an annual state-wide ‘all of health’ workforce needs assessment for remote and rural Queensland.
The Health Workforce Needs Assessment is produced as a state-wide report alongside four regional workforce summary reports which complement each of the four Primary Health Network’s needs assessments.
With a focus on the primary health care landscape, the Health Workforce Needs Assessment identifies high priority locations, professions and workforce requirements to develop and support evidence-based and effective models of service delivery in remote and rural Queensland.
