Practice Information:
This hospital has an exciting opportunity for a committed and motivated Breast Physician to work within their Diagnostic Breast Clinic. Breast Physicians are key to the clinic’s patient-focused approach and work as part of a multidisciplinary team of radiologists, surgeons, pathologists, oncologists, imaging staff, nurses, and administration staff.They have a progressive 154 bed private not-for-profit stand-alone facility located in Toowoomba.
Position Description:
Perform clinical consultations and breast examinations.
Correlate clinical and imaging findings with the radiologist.
Correlate, in conjunction with radiologists and pathologists, the results of patient history, examination, imaging and cytological and histological examinations.
Give results to patients and support to those with suspicious or malignant results.
Liaise with referring doctors and surgeons regarding on-going patient management.
Qualifications & Experience:
Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners
Current unconditional AHPRA registration
Commitment to working effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proven ability to effectively organise workloads.
