Join the Mental Health and Wellness practice in Toowoomba as a Clinical Psychologist.

The Role:
As a Clinical Psychologist, you'll plan and deliver interventions to diverse clients across the lifespan. We welcome applicants with special interests in specific populations. You'll also have opportunities to design and facilitate individual and group interventions and educational sessions.
Main Responsibilities:
Provide evidence-based psychological assessments and strategies to clients aged 7 and older
Conduct telehealth sessions as needed
Maintain accurate electronic case notes and client records
Write various reports, including progress summaries, discharge reports, assessment findings, and NDIS review reports
Participate in case conferences and supervision
Collaborate with the therapy and administration team
Remuneration:
Potential earnings up to $125,000 (FTE), including benefits like leave entitlements, superannuation, clinical support, supervision, and mentoring.

Qualifications and Essential Criteria:
AHPRA Registered as a General Psychologist with Clinical Endorsement
Masters or Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (or equivalent)
Independently meets CPD requirements set by AHPRA
Minimum 12 months of private practice experience
Medicare Provider registration (or eligibility)
Criminal History and Working with Children Check
NDIS Worker screening clearance and orientation module cempletion (or willingness to obtain)
Professional Indemnity Insurance
Compliance with Queensland Health guidelines and Public Health orders
ABN (for contractors)
Experience & Skills:
Experienced in assessing, diagnosing, and treating various presentations in adults, adolescents, children, and their families
Proficient in delivering various evidence-based therapies within patient-centred care models in private practice settings.
Excellent understanding of the indicated use and delivery timeframes of evidence-based therapies in private practice settings.
Knowledgeable in mental health assessment tools and standardised outcome measures
Demonstrated experience working with developmental, attachment and trauma informed frameworks
Able to build rapport with clients, families, stakeholders, and colleagues
Effective in both independent and collaborative work settings
Good understanding of referral schemes, compliance standards and reporting requirements for various third-party funders including Workers compensation, NDIS, Medicare and DVA.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Conflict resolution skills
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Specialist administrative team support. Supported by administrative team who are knowledgeable in all aspects of practice management, including referral pathways, compliance, and audit requirements. They actively build and support the client relationship between clinical sessions, scheduling appointments, setting therapy expectations, and helping clients to overcome access barriers to connect in with practitioners for therapy.
