Job Title: Exercise Physiologist - New or Recent Graduate -Queensland.
Job Type: Permanent – Full-Time (38 hours per week).
Practice Information:
The practice provides community rehabilitation and disability services to people living with illness, injury, and/or disability to help them life a life they love. They deliver an interdisciplinary private pain group program which is having a profound impact in the community and is incredibly rewarding to be part of. The practice has an interdisciplinary allied health team of 13 clinicians. Their clinical team collaborates closely to maximise their impact and help their clinicians as well as their clients thrive. Clinic is location is 5mins from the Cairns CBD, with plenty of free street parking directly in front of the clinic. Living in Cairns means short commutes (5mins-25mins). Great work/life balance is a top priority. They offer flexibility in work hours, as well as no early mornings, evenings, or weekend work.
Position Description:
The role of an Exercise Physiologist is to support our community to live a life they love through striving for excellence via delivery of high-quality healthcare that allows patients to achieve amazing outcomes. Our team are dedicated to empowering their patients to working towards their goals, and improving their quality of life, through taking an active role in their therapy. This involves formulating thoughtful and evidence-based assessments and developing and where appropriate, implementing, innovative therapy strategies that align with our ethos of person-centred care, focusing on assisting patients in achieving their personal goals and enhancing their independence in various aspects of life. The team works collaboratively with the systems and supports already in place with the client to maximise their outcomes.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor of Clinical Exercise Physiology or equivalent qualification
Registration with ESSA (Exercise and Sports Science Australia)
Current Driver’s License

Salary Information:
$80,000 - $100,000 per annum.
