Job Title: General Practitioner – Cairns, Queensland.
Hours: Permanent - Full Time. Potential alternating weekends.
Practice Information:
This practice is a mixed billing clinic, owned and run by a GP. The clinic has on site pharmacy. Fully computerized and accredited. Registered Nurse, administration staff. The practice offers minor procedures, care planning and health assessments, family medicine, mental health, nurse performs pap smears, immunizations, ECG testing.
Position Details:
Providing preventive care and health education to patients
Minor procedures
Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
Maintaining accurate medical records
Participating in ongoing professional development activities
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent
General Registration with the Medical Board of Australia
Demonstrated experience in a general practice setting
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Salary Information:
70% remuneration.

Cairns is located in Far North Queensland. It is a beautiful city surround by wonderful nature including the Great Barrier Reef and many rainforests. Your downtime will be filled with exploring the region. There is also an international airport, making any travel easy. The clinic is located in the heart of Cairns in the main shopping center, easy commute from anywhere in the region. Cairns is now a DPA eligible location.
