Focus on integrative medicine
About the Opportunity:
This practice is a well-established, private billing clinic with an environment focus on high-quality patient-centred care and a strong focus on integrative medicine.
With the rapid growth of Integrative Medicine, they require an additional clinician to support unprecedented patient demand, currently with a long waiting list. The position, ideally, would suit a doctor who is willing to listen to their patient and has a keen interest in holistic and integrative medicine, as well as experience in treating women's health issues.
Types of conditions commonly seen at this clinic range from chronic disease management, weight loss, menopause, hormonal issues, and other. It includes cancer patients who need infusions to repair damage from chemotherapy or has elected to not have chemotherapy and take a more natural approach.
The practice also offers skin checks and skin cancer surgery; however, this is not a requirement. If you have any other areas of special interest, they will be happy to discuss how they can accommodate these.
There is a lot of scope for general practice should the incoming GP wish to practice a combination of GP work and integrative medicine. Unrestricted doctors with initiative who are interested in learning integrative medicine are also encouraged to apply.
Essential Criteria:
MBBS or equivalent
Must have a current and valid AHPRA GENERAL /SPECIALIST registration and be able to work without supervision.
FRACGP, FACRRM or FACNEM qualified would be preferred
Qualification with A5M or IFM would be consider a bonus.
Medical Indemnity Insurance, work as a sole trader and be eligible for a Medicare provider number.
Working with Children Check
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Able to work both independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Able to quickly build rapport with individuals from different backgrounds.
Strong problem-solving skills and able to use initiative.
About The Role:
Focus on continuity of care with a combination of conventional western medicine and complementary medicine and therapies.
Integrative Medicine (or desire and intent to learn)
Flexible working arrangements can be negotiated, including part-time or full-time hours.
The clinic aims to promote a great work-life balance and for everyone in the team to enjoy coming to work.
All marketing, appointment booking, equipment, stock and front desk service taken care of with the assistance of our practice manager, reception, and nursing staff, who will also bring you delicious barista made coffee.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team. The clinic is more like a 'family’ than just staff members.
You can learn from one another and develop your skills.

Hours:
Permanent – Full Time or Part Time. The clinic is currently open Monday to Thursday 8:00 – 17:00. There is no requirement to work weekends, after-hours or Public Holidays.
Salary Information:
% of billings depending on qualification and experience and will be discussed during the interview process.
