Practice Information:
The practice is part of a group of four practices which have been established for over 30 years and are GP owned. The Laidley practice is open Monday to Friday and Saturday mornings (excluding public holidays). Their patients are bulk billed. The practice is well supported with a Practice Manager, Assistant Practice Manager, Chronic Disease Nurse, Registered and Enrolled Nurses as well as a Senior and General Reception team.
The practice is fully computerised using Medical Director and Pracsoft. On site services include Physiotherapy and S and N Pathology. The practice has a visiting Dietician, Exercise Physiologist, Podiatrist and Audiologist.
All four practices are accredited with QPA. All of their practices are extremely busy and therefore there would be an immediate available patient base.
Position Description:
This practice is seeking a caring GP who is willing to work with our experienced team of wonderful staff.
Salary: Competitive salary - 65% of receipts
After Hours Requirements:
This practice currently works with other practices in the Lockyer Valley region on a 14-week rotating roster for after hour requirements. The on call is phone triage and is usually 2 nights per month.

General Practitioners with AHPRA registration
About Laidley:
Laidley is a rural town which is situated in the heart of the Lockyer Valley. As part of the "Salad Bowl" of the Lockyer Valley the area is primarily agricultural, with vegetables making up the majority of the crops. There is also significant beef and dairy cattle farming along with a growing equine industry. Gatton is also noted for producing fodder crops particularly prime Lucerne hay.
In the 2016 census the population was recorded as 3808. Several education facilities exist in the Lockyer Valley including the University of Queensland as well as a mixture of public and private schools. Laidley has a local hospital facility. Laidley is located 40 mins drive from both Ipswich and Toowoomba. Ipswich has 2 major hospitals and University of Queensland as well as the University of Southern Queensland while Toowoomba has 3 major hospitals as well as the University of Southern Queensland. Both Ipswich and Toowoomba have many private and public schools both for primary and senior students.
