About Mackay:
The clinic is centrally located within the Marian Town Centre precinct next door to an established pharmacy and surrounding high traffic retailers including Woolworths, various food retailers, Mitre 10 hardware store and a busy childcare centre. The patient demographic is diverse caring for a population of 3,000 Marian locals as well as a wider catchment of 120,000 permanent residents of Mackay and the surrounding agricultural region. Marian is known for its relaxed lifestyle, thriving agricultural industry and friendly locals.

Practice Information:
This mixed billing AGPAL accredited practice is located 24km to the West of Mackay. This established practice has two consulting rooms and a fully equipped treatment room suitable for vaccinations and minor procedures. Supporting General Practitioners there is an allied health team on location with one full-time nurse, visiting podiatry and pathology.

This practice is owned by an expanding operator of high-quality general practices across Australia. They passionately believe that primary care needs to be locally focused, and that is why the group of practices are locally managed, regionally connected, and centrally supported. Their ethos is simple – to support GPs and enable them to provide the best standard of care in their communities.

Requirements:

• VR GP (DPA, MM5 Location)

• OR Restricted Non-VR GP eligible for an accredited pathway with remote supervision

• Ability to work in an independent working environment
