Practice Information:
This medical centre is located in Warwick, a town of 15000 people, with onsite services including pharmacy, physiotherapy, pathology and radiology (including a CT scanner).
Warwick is less than two hours from Brisbane on the picturesque Darling Downs. It is a service town for the local rural community and beyond. It is an educational centre with 8 primary schools and five high schools which prepare children for University courses (including medicine) or trades.
The practice prioritises continuity of care for the multi generation families and they cultivate a strong work-life balance to allow Doctors to develop their careers as they wish.
This training practice has weekly in-house education meetings and monthly talks with visiting specialists. Their visiting skin cancer surgeon is an enthusiastic teacher who promotes our standard of care for the (over 2000 procedures a year) we do in our 3 minor op rooms.
Nursing support staff run a ten bay nursing area.
Position Description:
Qualified GP preferably with FRACGP or FACRRM
There is an opportunity to do anaesthetics if you have these skills.
Qualifications & Experience:
Experience in all areas of general practice though we are very happy to up skill any Doctor in any area of medicine. This is the nature of our practice.
After Hours Requirements:
There are no after-hours requirement however the Clinic is open 7 days a week with morning sessions Sat 8.30 – 12 noon and Sun 9am – 11.30am on a rotation roster.
