Job Title:  General Practitioner - Weipa, Queensland.

Job Type:  Permanent – Full-Time.

Practice Information:
A fully accredited boutique GP service Located in a wealthy mining town. Under 2,000 patients - Practice is set up to support the lifestyle- work 6- 7 hours / day 5 days a week only.  Fully furnished accommodation is available to rent. Child friendly town. Being remote on average $50,000 per annum government incentive, in addition to the salary. Opportunity to learn multiple procedural skills. Partner can work at the practice in a clinical or non-clinical role- if this is a requirement.

Position Description:
Work in a friendly and supportive environment, sharpen your skills. You set the pace. Work between 9 am to 4 pm work- life balance is the key. Supervision and teaching are part of the position- from a well-qualified and experienced GP. Extraskills in the skin and muscle area available to learn. Telehealth is provided for 30% of the consultants. Truly relaxing and stress-free work environment where you are extremely well rewarded.

Qualifications & Experience:

• APHRA registration

• Prior experience is preferrable

Salary Information:
$110,000 - $250,000 per annum or 75% of the billings.

5,000 regular residents, 10,000 tourists during dry season. Has countries largest rural school. Multiple recreational facilities. BCFing is what we do for recreation. 4-wheel drive capital of the country. Fully equipped hospital with 6 doctors and birthing unit. Average income of the town is more than 100k- very high disposable income means no payment issues. Good flight services 16 flights/ week to Cairns. Good supermarket / Hardware/ post office and banking services are available.
