Job Title: Occupational Therapist (Flexible hours) - New Grad or Experienced - South Burnett, Queensland.
Job Type: Permanent – Full-time/Part-time (Flexible work hours).
Practice Information:
This dedicated and client-focused therapy provider supports individuals in achieving their daily living goals. As an interprofessional practice, they work alongside professionals from various fields, including Psychology and Exercise Physiology, to provide holistic care to our clients. Additionally, they are a family-run and oriented business that genuinely cares about their employees' well-being, ensuring a supportive and positive work environment. Key Responsibilities:
Provide Occupational Therapy (OT) supports focused on daily living skills and independence.
Conduct workplace and home assessments to recommend modifications and interventions.
Develop and implement therapy plans to support clients in achieving their goals.
Prepare detailed reports and documentation in line with NDIS, WorkCover, and Medicare requirements.
Collaborate with clients, families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
Travel to client homes and workplaces to conduct assessments and provide therapy as needed.
Requirements:
Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy.
Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist.
Experience working with NDIS participants, WorkCover, and/or Medicare clients (preferred but not essential).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.
Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for travel to client locations.
Current Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening (or willingness to obtain).
