Job Title: Practice Nurse - Hamilton Island, Queensland.
Job Type: Permanent – Part-Time (24 hours per week, three days per week).

Position Description:
The organisation is searching for a warm, dedicated, and experienced Practice Nurse to join their team. This part-time role offers three days per week, perfect for maintaining a work-life balance while making a real impact on patients’ lives. You’ll work closely with our doctors, providing essential healthcare services in a clinic renowned for its commitment to excellence.
Your Daily Impact:
Provide hands-on patient care, including wound management, immunisations, health checks, and preventive services
Collaborate on chronic disease management plans and wellness programs
Deliver health education and guidance to empower patients in managing their health
Engage in a diverse role that fosters strong patient relationships in a close-knit community
What We’re Looking For:
Enrolled Nurse or Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
2+ years of experience in general practice or a similar clinical setting
Excellent communication skills and a natural ability to connect with patients
Strong organisational skills and a proactive approach to patient care
Team spirit, adaptability, and enthusiasm for working in a dynamic island setting
Important Requirements:
Accommodation: You will need to have your own accommodation on Hamilton Island or on the mainland near the port to ensure reliable commuting.
Travel Allowance: If you reside off the island, we will provide a travel allowance to help cover commuting costs.
