HWQ Job Placement Snapshot

The Health Workforce Solutions team had a very productive first quarter of the year with 23 placements in Queensland rural and remote communities. 

• 6 General Practitioners

• 17 Allied Health Professionals

Out of the 23 roles filled, 10 were Allied Health positions in Roma (MM4 location) and Mount Isa (MM6 location), both within the Western Queensland PHN region. Other roles were in filled throughout the state. See below for placements broken down by MM classification and PHN region.

Health Workforce Queensland is a not for profit, non-Government Rural Workforce Agency (RWA) for primary health workforce in Queensland and dedicated to supporting and improving access to general practitioners, allied health, dentistry, nursing and midwifery professionals in remote, rural and First Nations communities in Queensland.
