Practice Information:
This psychology private practice provides clinical psychology for the treatment of all relationship related issues, via couples therapy, and also for all issues related to emotional dysregulation and interpersonal sensitivity difficulties, via individual therapy. Plus NDIS services to assist with improved living, challenging behaviours & assessment. The clinic is primarily located in Townsville, Queensland, the only practice in North Queensland able to provide psychologists with a high level of training in Gottman Couples Therapy and Schema Therapy. The clinic provides services to couples who desire a well-researched and effective approach to couples therapy or individuals who require help to solve lifetime struggles with emotions, repeated behaviour challenges or interpersonal issues. Services are available for local and interstate couples and individuals and most services can be offered via online video conferencing. They provide individual services in Townsville and Ingham, offer Marathon Couples Therapy in Townsville & Melbourne, and all services are available online nationwide.

The clinic is looking for:
A Psychologist to meet the demands of our growing practice and awaiting referrals.
What you can expect:
A variety of client presentations and levels of functioning. A great mix of therapy, assessment and report work. A supportive team of psychologists. A private practice that runs smoothly. The clinic is a growing private psychology practice based primarily in Townsville, with psychologists providing individual and couples therapy, assessment and positive behaviour support plans. The clinic is also a Nationally Registered NDIS Provider. They are the provider of choice for many in our local community, enabling us to have strong incoming referral streams.
Qualifications & Experience:
AHPRA Registered Psychologist
Able to work autonomously, confidently managing your own case load as well as being a positive, motivated, empathic character with a strong focus on quality.
Desirable (not vital) - experience administering assessments, writing behaviour support plans, using the Gottman Method in couples therapy.
After Hours Requirements: No
Salary Information: Full time OTE $79,523 - $119,850 (casual employees), up to $165,600 (subcontractors).
