Job Title: Registered Nurse or Endorsed Enrolled Nurse - Gympie, Queensland.
Practice Information:
The practice is an accredited general practice that opened its doors in August 2001. Since that time over 8,800 patients have attended the clinic. The practice is bulk billing, drawing its patients from town and more so from the surrounding region. A significant proportion of active patients are those with chronic diseases. Fully computerised using Medical Director (MD3), patient management software and PracSoft (PS3) billing package. They currently have three GPs, two registered nurses, a practice manager and receptionists. The practice also has a dietitian, a diabetic educator who attends once a month and a visiting Physician and Nephrologist, who attends every third week of each month.
Position Description:
This practice is looking for a Registered Nurse or Endorsed Enrolled Nurse to join their clinic in Gympie. This practice offers a friendly and supportive team-based environment in which the RN/EEN will work closely with GP's to deliver high-quality, individualised care.

Qualifications & Experience:
Current AHPRA registration - RN or EEN
Experience as a Practice Nurse is preferred but not essential
Fully immunised

$31.83 -$51.29 per hour - negotiable (based on experience & qualifications)
About Gympie:
Gympie is about 2.5 hours (160km) drive north of Brisbane and 1.5 hours drive south of Hervey Bay. The Gympie region has a population of about 50,292 (2016 census data). The township itself has an estimated population of close to 25,000. Gympie is very well serviced by a general hospital which is less than a 5-minute drive from the clinic. The hospital has an outpatient clinic for visiting specialist and it also offers allied health, community health, and several other services. There is also a private hospital and three nursing homes, two local pathology services, three radiology and nuclear medicine services. There are several public and private schools in Gympie and surrounding areas, plus five childcare centres.
